WHO'S A HIGH PERFORMER?

Performance is hard to judge. Someone who may be a high performer in one aspect may not be a high performer in another. Someone with a lot of time in a position may be able to run circles around someone new to the job.

We only work with high performers, though, so how can we tell?

GROWTH MENTALITY

Judging absolute performance is hard. But judging velocity is actually easy.

Are you getting better? Constantly? Do you strive to always improve?

If these things are true, even if your absolute performance isn't high now, it will be in the future. And if you've applied these principles your whole career, there's no doubt your performance is stellar.

You can't have an ego if you want to get better.

GRIT

Grit is persistence. It's try and try and try again.

Folks who are gritty don't ever fail; they just find more and more ways not to solve their problems. And eventually, they find ways to solve their problems.

A combination of grit and a growth mentality is a recipe for a 10x developer, a 10x manager, and a 10x leader.

Our clients find us because of their grit--they're looking for more was to succeed, to improve, and to grow. They're never satisfied. They're not lazy.
